Blockprinting for Beginners // April 10th, 6-8pm

$58.00

Curious about printmaking but not sure where to begin? This beginner-friendly class is designed to take the intimidation out of the process and get you carving with confidence!

You’ll learn about essential materials and how to use them safely, explore tips for designing your own prints, and create a finished piece you can be proud of. Each participant will receive their own carving block to keep, along with carving tools to use during class. By the end, you’ll not only have hands-on experience but also the inspiration (and skills!) to keep creating beautiful carved prints at home.

About the Instructor:

Amanda Santerre is a self-taught printmaker and the artist behind The Golden Foxxe. What began in 2018 as just a hobby has now become her full-time business. Growing up, she was fascinated by all living things and has made it the subject of her art to this day. Whether it is selling her work and meeting new friends at markets, or teaching a class, Amanda's goal is to build community, connect people and strengthen our individual ties to the nature that surrounds us.
