Foundation/Paper Piecing Workshop // Thursday, March 26th 6-9pm

$50.00

Piecing on a paper foundation to insure precisely pieced quilt blocks that will join together to form a wall hanging or quilted project. Learn how to print and use free downloads, patterns, and graph paper as templates, Choose which types of paper, printer paper, newsprint, or other available project papers to use. With paper piecing you can make shapes (hearts, trees, stars) and pictures to use as blocks or whole quilt design. I will show you simple blocks (one piece of paper) and complex blocks that join multiple pieced pieces together. You can create letters, numbers, animals, jewels and landscape designs. Learn how to convert a traditional pattern to a paper piece pattern and figure the size of each piece you need to cut. I will introduce you to more complex paper piecing designs.
