Machine Sewing 101: Make a Tote Bag // April 30th, 6-9pm

$60.00

Learn the basics of machine sewing and make your own tote bag! In this class, you will learn how to: wind a bobbin, thread your machine, adjust your stitch length, width and tension, read a pattern, sew a simple, lined tote bag. This class is for complete beginners or anyone who needs a refresher on using a sewing machine. If you’re interested in garment sewing, this is a great place to start!

About the Instructor:

Sarah Bushway is a lifelong crafter and sewist who began making her own clothes as a personal protest against the fast fashion industry—and never looked back! Sarah is also the owner of Forager Fabrics, specializing in sustainable fibers and secondhand sewing supplies.
